Command + Option + P + R to reset NVRAM / PRAM

Command + S to boot into single-user command line
Command + V to boot VERBOSE
Shift to boot in Safe mode
C or Option + C to boot into Device selection
D or Option + D to boot in Diagnostics mode (needs HD installed)
